Default 3 door track car?

My car is up for sale due to no place to keep it and no time to drive it at the mo.Seems a shame to get rid as it owes me nowt realy, and they are not too common (As scooby )
As i dont drive it to often and am always working ,i was thinking i could do with somthing to take me away from work (hobby like)
SO after talking to the other half ,i have found a garage to rent and can put the cossie in there for now .The next thing is ,i would make time for the car if it was like going to track days and such and meeting a few people.Thinking of striping it out and selling the interior ,500bumper and other no required bits and use the money i get to go towards upgrades and a paint job.
Or would it be a shame to sort of loose a 3 door
Cant decide its a killer

Sell it and use the money to buy a 3dr rallycar (£5k) and remap/gear it for trackdays. You'll have a quality cage with all the seats/harnesses/dials etc. Its all work you'll end up spending loads of time and money on converting your own.
If you can get £6k for your 3dr, you'll break even, easy.
