Default FRS clutch, good for 300bhp?

as above really, looking for a clutch for my xr2, (2.0 zetec engine, 2.0 flywheel, mtx75 box) and it needs to cope with 300bhp+, dont fancy going down the lairy paddle clutch route as its A expensive and B not good for driveability.

just wondering if a standard FRS clutch can handle 300bhp? ive driven one before and clutch was fine to drive with so would be ideal.

any help please folks!

Isn't it the release bearing that causes it not to fit? So could an FRS clutch plate and cover and a normal MTX75 release bearing be used?

The cover hits the inside of the normal MTX75.
