I know some people keep their cars & have no plans to sell them, i normally have 1 main car & a few more around it so i can have a bit of choice, plus it saves driving the main car to much
Me & the missis have had our fair share of cars over the years but sometimes i get pissed off with them, i was planning on selling all of them except the escos at the end of next year to buy a house, but after the last few days i don't think they will last long, i'm fed up paying out money on tax & insurance then worrying about having a place to keep them safe, then you worry about leaving them whenever you go out aswell
I think if someone puts a good offer on escort turbo that will go soon, then the fiesta turbo will be up for sale in the first half of next year (need to use it for a while first, spent so much time/money on it & covered just over 1000 miles in the last 4 years) then i think when i have used the escort cossie through the summer i may get rid of that aswell!!!
I will just keep a run-a-round for a while, maybe even keep the gti, then when i get bored i think a new focus ST will be on the cards

After 3 years without, i still wouldnt mind another toy/garage warmer, and have looked around and torn my hair out should I shouldnt I kinda thing, but i would rarely get the chance to use it, so it would be sat there, costing and rotting
I have an everyday shitter that i can dump anywhere and feel sorry for the sad cunt that would want to nick it, plus ive just taken delivery of a Vespa to liven up my commute to work
would be weird seein you 2 without a stack of spare cars lol but if its to get something like a house then i d say its a blinding idea...
plus once you get the house you can buy another toy for the weekend

This time last year, we had 10 cars between 3 of us in the family.
Now we're down to 5, and selling two more to get one, so that we have one car each, and one project (77 Triumph Stag restoration).
The relief is immense. The layout on insurance, tax, and MOTs was ridiculous, and the worry was taking over. Living more "normally" with cars is worth twice the thrill you get from the odd exciting drive of them.
