If you have a tight budget go for g-max or for slightly more go for spax At the end of the day its up to you

koni are about 360 in fast ford somewhere. they are the tits to be fair for the money. then get a set of deflex bushes(nice n cheap) and there i think you have it for budget.

Does any company do good springs for RSTs that aren't lowered past the original RST height but would be a little stiffer? Does any one even know the poundage of the original springs or some recommended springs?

Im just curious to know how much your car is lowered and what wheels your running? i wouldnt suggest lowing any more than 25mmm from the standard rs turbo height but if its around that height now i wouldnt think you would have i big problem with scraping? Your shocks could be fooked and/or some of the suspension bushes could also be shot. Obviously i dont know what setup you have or what roads you drive on but it could be one of the above Your not running something silly like 60mm lowering springs?

Ive been tring loads of springs recently. At the moment, i'm using Koni's all round, std springs on read, and cobra on front. The car drives sooo mmuch nice than it has ever done. It rides over bumps really well without crashing into pot holes. Yet the firm koni's keep everything under control. It handles really well.

Been thinking about this setup for a while. Colin Chapman was a strong advocate of soft springs and firm dampers, and so far he seems to be right...
