Default T3 fitting

im having a bit of trouble with the guide on how to fit the t3, in the guide it says that the escort turbo water feed pipe is needed, wot dose it mean by this, is it the metal pipe that is bolted on the turbo itself or is it the rubber hose that i need

Dead easy mate i can do them in 90min in and out they are that easy,

remove front bumper
remove radiator and intercooler
unbolt the T2 downpipe from the turbo and the system
didsonnect the oil feed pipes (back of block)
unbolt the turbo manifold from the head
disconnect all water pipes to the turbo
remove airfilter and fittings
jack the car up in the air
drain the oil and remove the filter
remove the oil plug from the block

at this point the car should be free at the front of the block

Fit the escort oil plug in block ( www.fordpartsuk.com ) ford discontinuded
fit escort rs turbo manifold gasket
fit T3 onto car
fit new oil filter
fit new oil feed pipe (back of block)
fit your new converted downpipe to the turbo and system
drop the car down
fill with new oil
fit new air filter essembly

Important ** priming turbo **

Remove fuel pump fuse
fill the turbo with oil through the oil feed hole on top of the turbo with small oil can
fit feed pipe
OPTIONAL WATER = you can block these off and run as oil cooled or fit the water pipes to the original hoses.

I run without water as its cooler = hence the water runs through the turbo boiling up and then returning back through the engine increasing engine temps, series ones ran without water so its fine you just need to run it up and down correctly 3mins.

If you want feed pipes i have a set for £10

Chris.
