i have downloaded the disc that coems with the phoen but i keep having to do this???

also i still cant get music off me puter onto the phone

Which mode are you going onto on your phone? You need to go onto file transfer not phone mode to put songs onto your phone. This prompt will come up when you connect your phone to the usb.

Also have you installed D2P (Disc to Phone)? as you'll probably need that to store your music properly.

 

buy a dongle and bluetooth it mate much easier. ive had a dongle years . best money i spent. the disc i got dont load up properly on my pc either .

then i just cut my music/pic file then open the bluetooth program and paste it on to my phone and it send the bits to my phone !

 

my bluetooth just crashes my comp when i try to send big files

I installed the software that came with it but never use it.
I just plug in the phone and let windows freak out telling me to install new hardware etc, just press cancel afew times.
Press file transfer mode on the phone when you plug it in, then let it reset and go in to the actual transfer mode. Then use either windows explorer or my computer to simply drag the files onto the phone, it should appear as Drive D: or whatever. Expand it and you will see all the folders; Music, video, other, etc etc. The camera one is DSCF or something like that

also i have been in file transfer but fook all happens, best i have doen so far is to get the photos off the phone on to the pc

i never got any thing of lime wire ??

first i make sure its in mp3 format . then the file has to be stored with the windows media symbol , the arrow with the circle round it made of 4 colours . then i just right click it , cut , then go in my bluetooth prog , put the arrow over the symbol for my phone , right click and paste . then it sends the file to my fone, i accept it in the phone and then just wait for it to come through !

i use a prog called XTNDconnect blue manager ! very simple !

 

where do you get that from?

 

the dongle came off ebay and the prog came with it . if some one can tell me how i can copy the prog or send a copy of the prog i will send it to you . but when i changed pc i coundnt get this prog off the old one so i had to ask around the sites for some one to find me a download link.

i got the dongle 3 years ago off a firm called "keepitbritish" im sure it called that ???

you can get a dongle off the local markets for Ł10-Ł15 with a little disc with a prog on !

when i bought it id only just got a pc and believe me , i was shit on it . couldnt even put pics up or nothing , but this prog was nice and simple to use.
