you could just unplug the horn.

or...take the door panel off and take the alarm trigger off the door lock.

this will not turn on or off as you open and unlock it.

i had to do this on a couple of mk5 escorts. my cabs one was different and i never found out how to disconnect it. you can unplug the horn but it will still immob the car ??

thats not a bad thing though is it.

still have to lock it with the key,this turns on the alarm and activates the immob., then when the alarm triggers you won't get any noise.

Good advice guys

but what if some fooker is in your way and u awnt a quick blast on the horn

I assume that is the white plastic bit round the lock that trigggers it

to the best of my memory . its a plastic thing in a C shape ?? i took it off and smahed the hell out of it and run it over with my forklift cos i had to leave the car at work for 3 days while we tried to work out how to get the immob off

it is that thing you say.

also, the horn and the alarm horn are different, the alarm horm is near the window wipers,the horn is near the front bumper.

as you look under the bonnet im sure the alarm horn is in the top right hand corner . like dave said by the wipers really. just put your head under the bonnet next time it goes off
