I've got to repaint the alloy wheels on my Mk3 Escort but don't know what colour to use. I bought some alloy paint and it was way too dark - more like gun metal.

Does anyone know what colour Ford used, or what would be a good match?

Hi m8 i work in a bodyshop and when we have to refurb alloys we use ford moondust silver.
Some customers have said this has too much sparkle in it so for them we use the later stardust silver same as moondust but less sparkle hope this helps.
