Default Question regarding BMW M3 SMG.....

BMW E46 M3 SMG. Does anyone if it is possible to over-ride the device that stops you from watching the TV while in motion??

Stu can you get a OE Satnav/TV (widescreen) setup for my mine just has a buisness radio at the moment

Hi Paul, Yes you can I have never done one yet. I know you can fit it in aftermarket if you can get your hands on all the bits.
It costs around Ł2500.00 fitted tho Sorry about the price

dunno why its so expensive cause it aint that good!, got it in my M3 and you cant put postcodes into it so it doesnt have ALL information. Got me to the 'ring and back no worries though

Yeah the sat nav isnt the best, but i think its all the other bits, like top TV with Teletext, computer, Blue tooth for phone etc.

Yeah all the other stuff is just a bit on the expensive side. The coms pack is around Ł3500.00 from BMW when you spec it on a new car. In my 7 series you can watch sky news and tmf music channel etc on the move and its perfect fitted it all myself aftermarket equipment is much better than factory over priced stuff.
