Went over for track day with my mate. Talking to a freind of his there who owned a MX5. Anyway to cut a long story short.. Was get it very sideway on some of the corners untill we hit Quary way to fast and smack hit the tyres. Car is right off imo all the drives side, nice big hole punchered in the boot Good knows how that happened! And snapped the front steering joint so the wheels were pointing in opposite directions.

And me being total dick, couldnt have fasten my helmet on properly as was rush to get out. As a result on impact my helmet went flying off Not clever.

Anyway the car stood up ok to a fairly heavy impact on me on lad got out fine obviously with me just having bad neck which was a result of wiplash that i had when my old Rover go wrote of thanks to MR Transit van and its just be aggrivated agian But what an experiance going into tyre wall! As people say it happens in slow motion lol

a guy in a clio tried overtaking us round the OUTSIDE of
tower at castle combe the other weekend,.. he ended up on the brakes mid-corner, massive tank slapper, and into the tyres at about 70 ish...

the cars dont half stop quick
when they hit the tyres dont they mate

shame you missed the tyres and hit the wall, but even so, it would still be write off you hit it that hard!!
