Default White Fiesta RS Turbo: SOLD

I bought another for mrs h196jne but she doesn't want it so i am stripping and putting back together

74k
Full service history/MOT from day one
hpi clear
solid body
mint interior
magnex exhaust
Still has the original mint T2 (shit turbo's) but thats going and a T3 will be going on

Have another set of euro rear lamps and brand new ambers for the front and side, should look mint when its back to standard.

Don't know what wheels, i have two sets of standard rims so it could end up back on them, the wheels that are on it are 5 spokes but look arse

I was looking for a cosworth but the insurance company i'm with don't insure cosworths or skylines etc... so i'm waiting until december when i can change to get the cosworth, this was for mrs h196jne but she decided she wants a clio so i'm making it cleaner than the old one then i'll maybe sell it, i can't have too many cars i'm off to look at a rs1800 tomorrow.

Small update:

Started the stripdown ready for T3, i have new ambers for the front and side and euro's for the rear, some new 3 spokes, looking for another exhaust and some -30mm spring, then she will be off for some light cosmetic work.

I know mate the car was a big spec car having a zetec engine and T35 etc... and had the front panal cut out and a fabricated panal in its place and also the front bumper was cut to shite thats why its got that one on, its now been fitted with a brand new front panal and has still got the genuine front wings, as for the bumper i was going to remove the grill and trim the bumper an inch to remove the holes, which would make it look loads better.

Yes the new owner shaun is obviously from around there, i'm glad it wnet to a mature owner with great future plans for the car, looking back at some of the last pictures i must admit it did look well, its funny i was never really happy with it when i had and now its gone it looks awesome, the new one will be very similer just without the wheels i'm staying with mint standard rims.

I should really start a restoration thread but I'll post here first:

As I've been busy p**sing around with the Clio 16v the fiesta has been neglected abit, tried to fit the gauges and my god what a balls up I'm not really electrical minded and in my defence they came with the shitist of instruction i can't make head nor tail over, I'll have to rip them out and pics in the tech section for advice to where the wires go

Where the heater vent is I'm fitting the ACT gauge there and maybe a turbo timer.

Some heat wrap turned up so i covered the down pipe, but will be doing the manifold and possibly the exhaust housing if there's any left,

And my breather pot arrived and i was pretty surprised when i opened the package to find the size of it, i was expecting the size of a bailey frst pot but this as you can see from the pictures is more on the lines of the erst bailey and cosworth pot, looks pretty cool though but had to relocate as it wouldn't fit anywhere else, should still work the same as i used the pipe work of a fiesta si breather system,

And big thanks to 'NOMADRST' for the powder coated cover, excellent colour and finish just a few dots in the finish but overall very pleased, will deffo be sending the inlet for the same treatment :Q

More updates to come soon, have the gear for lowering the suspension -35mm but i may be going down the coil-over road as i think i have bought a set of escort cosworth alloys as the car isn't going to used as an everyday car, more like a just show day car so it shouldn't be a problem fitting these as i could make do with the bad ride quality for 1 day,

My inspiration

New wheels
Need to remove the monsterous standard tyres 225/45/16 and replace them with new pirelli 195/40/16 and it get it dropped

Wheels sold and keeping the standard 3 spokes on, i would have kept them but they are to wide.

Car should be going to the bodyshop within the next couple of weeks then fit my new tyres to the 3 spokes, new guttering plastics and window rubbers:

They come with everything you need all sendors, piping, etc.... the only thing i've had to buy is the t-peice from burton for the oil pressure so it keep the original one still working, i recommend mate and they look so much better than stadard white or black.

Been neglecting this car for some time now so i managed to get my arse into gear over the last week and sort out quite a lot of stuff mainly under the bonnet i have decided to give it the wrinkle paint look so these parts are getting done over the weekend:

Wrinkle paint

Rocker cover
Top half of the inlet
thermostat housing
strut tops
alternator shield

Powder coated silver
Cam pulley cover
Charge carrier
Throttle body

Other new parts for under the bonnet
T3 heat shield
New plug lead splitter
New brake reservoir
Ford Jack and brace
few other auto specialist blinggy things

First outing to ford

Grabbed these bargains off ebay both brand new:

How the engine bay stands started to strip and clean

New dealer sticker and number plates

Wheel choice:
Tried the escos wheels on took one look laughed my head off at the width, removed and sold next day and bought these-

How the car currently stands, but its booked in for the back arches to be replace and a full respray on the 19th

Small video:
Managed to get a dry day before i stripped the engine bay to test the boost, only got around the block as the bottom intercooler hose came off at 1.19 mins in the vid.
It doesn't got to bad for 7psi and standard apart from stage 1 T3 Hybrid turbo, scorpion exhaust and k&n.

More updates soon:
