I should really start a restoration thread but I'll post here first:
As I've been busy p**sing around with the Clio 16v the fiesta has been neglected abit, tried to fit the gauges and my god what a balls up I'm not really electrical minded and in my defence they came with the shitist of instruction i can't make head nor tail over, I'll have to rip them out and pics in the tech section for advice to where the wires go
Where the heater vent is I'm fitting the ACT gauge there and maybe a turbo timer.
Some heat wrap turned up so i covered the down pipe, but will be doing the manifold and possibly the exhaust housing if there's any left,
And my breather pot arrived and i was pretty surprised when i opened the package to find the size of it, i was expecting the size of a bailey frst pot but this as you can see from the pictures is more on the lines of the erst bailey and cosworth pot, looks pretty cool though but had to relocate as it wouldn't fit anywhere else, should still work the same as i used the pipe work of a fiesta si breather system,
And big thanks to 'NOMADRST' for the powder coated cover, excellent colour and finish just a few dots in the finish but overall very pleased, will deffo be sending the inlet for the same treatment :Q
More updates to come soon, have the gear for lowering the suspension -35mm but i may be going down the coil-over road as i think i have bought a set of escort cosworth alloys as the car isn't going to used as an everyday car, more like a just show day car so it shouldn't be a problem fitting these as i could make do with the bad ride quality for 1 day,
My inspiration
