RUSH COSSY REBUILDING
I am in rebuilding my YBG engine ( more power) and also painting the 7 during the winter months.

Spec now: ybg green top sapphire 4 x 4 engine
alloy radiator pace welded to my own spec
small pace welded intercooler
alloy heater tank self made
swirl pot self made
3 port oil breather system self made
side pipe from AC Cobra, exhaust pipe self made
some Samco's
oil cooler under the opend sidepannel with carbon air intake
2 AP brake cylinders with rods
MT 75 gearbox with short shifting
COSWORTH rear diff Future spec: rebuild, polished an balanced orig. crank, 0,25mm under,
orig. rods, new MAHLE'S 0,5 over, new Vandervell's,
ARP stud & nut kit, ARP big end bolt's, WRC 4 layer head
gasket, high pressure oil pump, ported head, Piper cams,
Piper pulleys, new cam followers, L8 ecu with pectel baby
board by Ahmed Bayjoo, 3 bar map, 803's or 400's BOSCH,
GT 30 RS A/R 0.68 internaly wastegated, because of the
clearance of the chassis frame, 100 mm inlet , big pace inter-
cooler in front of the radiator, pace small radiator under the
nose to cool the hot spots from the turbo, pop off on the
throttle body side, full Samco's, self made exhaust to and
from turbo, 044 Bosch, catch tank with lifting pump, second
oil cooler on the opposite side of the first.
Want close to 400 bhp, maybe 380, because the 7 weighs 670 kg, that's less than half what an escort or sapphire weigh's and is for this car BIG POWER.
Hope I get some " HELP " from the specialists or Cossy driver's in this forum. Love the UK; this is homeland of the Cossy's and you can get any part you want so easily, not so in Germany.
Hope I can see you all on the track next year.
Yours
Ronny

@SIM,
thanks for the greetz and for helping me in any future questions.
I know G. Ellmer with his "RWD" Escos. Nice car with many HP. Also love the yellow 7. Very good built.
I missed his car at this year's European Ford Event at Landgraaf. Anyway.
With any questions or problems you can ask him and get always a helpfull answer. He's one of the few guy's in Germany who know's all about Cosworth. And last but not least, he has some serious stuff on his webside.

@diabolic,
not only RUSHes, saw some "GERMAN" Cossy's at this year's European Ford Event at Landgraaf / Netherland's, especially an orig. WRC Escort
but without air restrictor and some serious other FORD's very nice built or rebuild, tuned and so on, who never saw a garage.
Their'e standing in the living room
lol.
Also love your Bullterrier, pic under your username. Had one for 7 year's who passed away last year. Want again one, but not from an german breader. German Bread is pretty bullshit. I buy one in the UK (white), maybe the next time I travel to or visit the UK.
Back to the Cossy's, the fastes car I've ever seen in my life was last year at EFE at Landgraaf the A1 Rallysport Fiesta at the 1/4 mile.
Like a rocket. And the guy's from A1 are also very nice.
Germany is at this point of view very poor. No Performance Ford Mag's, no Passion Ford, no Retro Ford, no Graham Goode, no Burton Power, no PJ, no Mike Rainbird, no Karl Norris, no Mountune, no A1 aso. Say excuse to the "other's" I've forgot.
So, enough writing for this time

@ all who's interested in upgrading his Turbo to an GT 30 R and won't drive ext. gated, here are some pics from an GT 30 R with int. wastegate A/R 0.68 housing and 100 mm inlet, good for nearly 500 bhp with 0.68, you can also get it with 0.86 and 1.06 for more bhp but with more lag.
Fit it with 0.68 and self made exhaust (modifide) 4x4 manifold on my RUSH Cossy.
Get an good price in Germany.
