getting a clonk noise from my rwd saph when i drive heard it now a few time when i'm in 4th an change to 5th, something under the car towards the back makes a clonk sound.

Gotta feeling its something to do with prop/diff cos its defienetely a transmittion orientated sound.

any ideas?

check the bolts on both ends of the drive shafts!

 

anything else i shouls check while i'm under there?

 

Diff mount that bolts from the diff to the boot floor and also check the centre bearing on the propshaft.

 

Rear anti roll bar one of my brackets popped out the body
