Group a gse close ratio gearbox for a 4x4 cosworth race/ rally car , it has dogleg straight cut 1st semi helical gears for 2nd 3rd 4th 5th
Gear ratios - speed at 6500 RPM with 3.9 final drive.
1:2.649 - 73.125 Km/h
2:1.909 - 101.47 Km/h
3:1.515 - 127.87 Km/h
4:1.227 - 157.88 Km/h
5:1 - 193.72 Km/h
R:2.955
it also has 80nm centre v/c with 3.9 step off or can come with 1:1
it has not long been rebuilt which cost £900.
this is a superb gearbox and easier to live with than a dog engagement box and requires a lot less mantainace! no need to replace dogrings every 3 events! This is not to be confused with a group n box.

i got the parts he need for mine myself, the parts are still easily obtainable

 

how much torque will this put up with?

 

i dont know, but they are a very strong box,
