I've only had my 3.5metre bullet about 3 weeks and so far my injuries are:

Cracked my head open, sprained my groin twice.....can hardly drive my car......and twisted my ankle, grazed elbows and legs v badly ripped a v nice pair of jeans to bits last wednesday the winds were v strong and I took the kite up and the bloody thing dragged me for about 30mtrs on my feet and then my feet decided to grip so I decided to run with it much to my horror I was going about 30 mph, so I let go and the breakes came on and I was dragged until the kite came to rest about another 60mts....this might sound like a bit of unreal, but believe me it was not.... so many people saw it happen they gave me a round of applause but I absolutely love the experience as you get such a rush from it and it also keeps you fit..........have got a couple of m8t's down the beach that have given me some advice on how to handle it..................my wife now want's a 1.5mtr bullet.
Have now bought myself some elbow and knee pads for xtra comfort

Me and my bro-in-law have been flying kites for quite a few years and just invested in kite surfers.... had a couple of lessons on the West Coast of Wales [fooking 5 hour drive for me] and abosfuckinglutely love it! We were down you're way last week at Wittering, scaring the locals with 15 foot jumps

you wimp ... i have a 4.9 m blade... top fun mate ... mate of mine had a 9 m blade when they first came out .. we were holding him 20 foot off the ground with a lenght of rope... then the wind changed... he fell and bounced

not sure i wanna be bounced from 20ft but i have just opened my own kitesurfing shop for beginners equipment didnt expect to see so many people into this stuff

 

I've been into kites since about 6yrs ago, haven't flew mine for about 12 months now though due to lack of time, I got a couple of the first flexi foils 6ft and 12ft, these bullets look good.

yeah my mate was on the end of a 9 mtr blade when it happened its actually the same bloke who has this kite for sale he got it from a guy that wanted to " look cool " you know its the in thing .. didnt quite realise how much skill and work was involved flew it once ..and gave up ..

i got a 4.9 mtr one .. it lifts me off the ground in the right wind .. from laying on my back to 4 foot off the ground in seconds .. what a rush im after a buggy next

had a go on 3.5 metre bullet at work and they certainly pull ya, i really want to have a go at kitesurfing as it looks ace already do wakeboarding

 

sounds like a bloodsport to me!
