Dax and Westfield are the two most common.

You'd never put one in a Robin Hood - the engine would be worth more than the car!

Stop faffing about and get the engine sold!

Most kit cars will accept the cossie lump as most cars were originally developed for the pinto or zetec.

The Toniq R is nice

http://www.toniqr.co.uk/

If it were me I would try to find a kit that could accept a mid engined Cossie lump. It would require a different box but would be unbeatable.

Westfield SEIW (Wide) takes it pretty easily. Ancillaries like intercooler, rad, oild coolers etc take some thinking to get right espcially if you want big power.

Very easy to get the 2wd gearbox and cossie LSD in there too, straight fit.

Magnum Cobra built one car with cosworth power and 4wd.

Great car apparently.

But IMHO a cobra aint right unless it has a thumping great V8 and loud sidepipes
