Default erst radiator swap

hi,

I'm new on this forum and i'm french (don't blame my english lol)
The radiator of my rst s2 flees, the preceding owner had not fixed it, the radiator knocked against the wastegate and it flees ...
I'm looking for since more than two months in France, I think to swap for a bigger like ford granada/orion (or an another model) in prevention of overheating
did somebody already make a swap?
which radiator exists with same the inlet/outlet on the sides?

thanks

I think the granada radiator will be too big to be honest mate.

The orion radiator will fit but it wont have the the connection for the turbo coolant hose (neither will the Mk3 escort/series 1 turbo radiator).

The only radiator with the correct connections is the Mk4 Escort turbo radiator.

can you not get your radiator re-cored?

no point of a recore unless ur end tanks are mint as most of the rads i see endtanks just look old and worn as there 15-20 years old

I got mine re-cored for £30 and it's like brand new

I suspect your cars overheating as it has a leak, so try a standard good condition one before upgrading imo

Moonie > The preceding owner changed the turbo without re-connecting water hose ont he turbo ..
anyway a turbo can run (function ?) with oil only, but it's bad, it will die sooner than with water cooling ..

where ?
the company near my work has a price more than 100£ ... but the core is built in cooper

for alloy rad, I had a nissan s13 with gt28r with a koyo rad, I did not see any change before/after however I had a gauge of water temperature, but why not ?

Your right, the turbo really needs the water supply, try and source an original S2 radiator!

these seem to be a bit over priced though, but gives you an idea of what they look like
