my sapphire cosworth 4x4 came with a dump valve which is getting on my nerves so ive bought a bung to go in its place but im unsure of what i need to block off elsewhere or where i need to plug pipes into etc etc. so any help including diagrams would be most appreciated

Take the dump valve off the large boost hose, put the bung in, tighten the hose clip around it. pull the small vacume hose off the dump valve, and either blank this off with a bolt that will fit tightly in and tuck it somewhere so it wont cause any trouble, or remove the T piece and connect it back upto the plenum, you should be able to see where it goes.

 

why not just replace it with a silent one

if you dont like the noise

 

(AS ABOVE) re-circulation valve, does the same job without the noise

replace the dump valve with a piece of broom shaft to bank off the hole then insted of it going ptshh ptshhh everywhere it just goes BROOM BROOM BROOM

who me?? who said anything bout image im just bored of the noise the dump valve makes always wanted me own set of turkeys under the bonnet and thought now that i actually have the car ive always wanted, i might change things on it
