Default beware of whos behind you!!!!

last night i took the car to tescos.....
on my way back home i notice a burgandy volvo do some strange moves to get behind me,
now i no im being follow so a hit the a40 and put my foot down (45 mph)
come off at the next junction and go around the roundabout 4 times witch they do aswell, back up the a40 about 3 miles and get caught at the lights,
so they catch up again.
now i get a good look at them and its 2 guys with the baseball caps on and looking a bit sus, lights change, i chip, start heading for home again, stop at lights again and one of them tossers is running towards me,
with that im off again..... cossie flat out this time (45-50), then im home and dry, untill they pull up outside but theres 5 cars this time and ones marked. i see on the cctv that there trying the car so i go and speak to them, get the speach, bla, bla, bla.
now whats pissing me off is that theyve said theyve put a stop on my car for failing to stop for police. (was fun tho)

Personally I would write a letter to the Chief Constable expressing your concern at the behaviour of the officers and that you felt you were in danger of being car jacked and the actions of the officers caused you to drive in a manner that you wouldnt normally.

Nothing to heavy... just bring it to his attention

10000000% agree

About 3 years ago I was almost car jacked for my series2 so I dont stop either now..

A few weeks after that incident I was in my car with Karl Norris and the police tried to run my off the road in an unmarked ( I mean unmarked, no hidden lights or owt) Rover 25. They way they signified they were police was to pull along side me at 30-40mph in the pitch black and wave their badges through the window- not out the window, through the window.

They got in front and blocked the road off- and jumped out- on first impressions as I was selevcting reverse and fucking off backwards was that they were big thugs.. when I looked again old bill.

So they start on etc etc etc.. usual crap.

Me and Karl went straight to the cop shop and had an interview with the Super Intendant in charge- it was now 1.30 in the morning.

I put in a complaint- backed up by Karl- seperate interviews.

The top guy agreed with us- he said " Police cars have markings and lights for a reason- there is NO safe way for an unmarked car to pull a motorist over- you did the right thing"

The police complaints commission wrote to me explaining the mater had been dealt with via a verbal warning.

Job done.

Jake

Seen this done before.

Going to a pig station wont do you much good these days as most are bloody shut at night!

Id call 999 and say, are these fuckers following me some of yours, or am I about to be jacked? Thatd soon cause shit, esp as id write a letter to the cops afterwards complaining.

Letters do seem to get certain cops off your back it seems

What about shoe on your ear and a hat on your left knee time?

Where the POLICE steal your car, and eat your dinner.

THEN how would you feel?

Eh? Eh?

Had the same kind of problem one night in Edinburgh!
Just picked up the ex from her work, sitting at a set of lights and an unmarked CID comes round the corner staring at us.I started laughing and then drove away.Next thing i know they are right on my case flashing the headlights at me and waving to the side of the road, well there was no sign of any badges and no blue flashing lights therefore i just kept driving.
Went round several roundabouts more than once and also done several lane cutting exercises at the last minute (to my amusement)
Thought that i had lost them a couple of times only for them to re-appear out some dodgy street!
After about half an hour of this the next thing i know there are 2 panda cars and a van behing me.Blue lights and a pull were the next thing to happen with a load of abuse from the CID!Arseholes!
Was a good laugh though!

i've been told that if its unmarked you are allowed to drive home or drive to a public place like a garage and then stop... cause it could be any random nutter!

so i'd carry on going till i got home!!

fuck going home , why show potential thieves where you live??? - simple answer, put your foot well down, dial 999 and report you are being followed.,possibly for a car jacking and you are worried.

I got chased in my escort cossie a few weeks ago, fucking renault laguna with three guys in overtook a line of cars coming off the motorway into oncoming traffic, desperate to get behind me for some reason and started to follow me, right on my bumper , then at a red light, as I slowed down they shot up the inside of me, cut infront and slammed the brakes on right infront of me I had to dive into the right turn lane, then go across the lights on red across moving traffic to try and get away, they obviously wanted my car as they followed me right across the road, nearly causing a few cars to crash, then sat on my bumper, and considering I was in a standard escort cossie T25, it must have been a V6 laguna as I had real trouble pulling any distance on them on the straight, as well as trying to dial 999 on my mobile, that had no fucking reception - the only reason I got away is luckily I know the area fairly well and was driving like an absolute madman, amazing how fast you can corner while shitting yourself - I the went round to my mates house, ( after making sure I had deffo lost them)and told him what had happened- I rang the police, but unfortunatly It seemed pointless as I had no real description of the blokes, hadn't got the car reg and no other info so they were not interested

Just be careful, unfortunatly there are a lot of utter CUNTS out there who will gladly do you serious harm just for a car , A mate a few years ago had his Alfa GTV v6 taken off him at gunpoint in broad daylight

Didn't Karl Norris have his 3 Door hi-jacked in Bimingham somewhere a few years ago?

Yeah ,go to your local cop shop, and ask for the list of names of the officers working that night, and particulary mention about the type.colour of car etc so you get the right ones. When asked why by the desk sargent, just say you want to write a letter of commendation to the Chief Constable for something they did

Then write the dirtiest slagging letter you can and watch em squirm

The fearing for ur safety thing should work. A mate of mine was being followed by an unmarked car, he didn't know at the time and thought the driver was trying to race him, so he floored it away and was pulled over by a marked one further up the road.

He admitted to speeding to the copper, and the copper said that if he told him he was "In fear of his own safety" he would've got off with it

Most forces have a policy that unmarked cars without lights & sirens can't stop other vehicles.
Unless the officer in the car is in uniform then you don't have to stop anyway so you can't be prosecuted for failing to stop.

As for making a complaint I probably wouldn't waste my time, as you won't get an apology and even if you find the officers involved they probably wouldn't be too bothered as its nothing more than a paperwork exercise.
