as above really? I see alot of people rate them and was just wondering are they quick? Or can they be made quick with easy bits and pieces or is it big work or a conversion type job?
cheers

Slow and gutless... although they are smooth, power delivery is spot on, handle very well, build well, feel comfortable and very much like a go-kart.
Nice cars, would I buy one? yes.. why? because my Rs costs a fookin fortune. If it didn't, would I buy one? no.

They will still piss all over a zetec s and hold their value mate
mate of mine has a zetec s who, is also flip2k3s mate and i think ben u would agree daves car could piss over most coz of the area we live in with country roads etc its not about top speed etc. and with his coilovers on it, its gotta be one the bet handling cars ive ever been in. ok, it wouldnt win if u were straight line top speed run down the a12 but how often is that the case. i reckon theyre bloody nippy for what they are. a great all round car imo

not light at the back really, if it is i'll bet the bushes need doing
Lower it 20mm, polybush all round and fit a lower front strutbrace and they're as much fun as you could have for 100bhp
and mine does nearly 40mpg and has been totally relaible for 3 years

handles well, isnt juicey on petrol i get 230miles in town driving from a full tank which cost about Ł30 with todays prices
