Erm thats totally different mate! VW at the time didnt have a quicker golf. Ford did have the Escort cosworth... Thats why they would have never produced the above!

Would be a cool car now, a decent RWD Ford, something we HAVENT got any more and sorely need.

Itd deffo have kept the ford name alive in this day and age better than the current cars.

Not really, It was mentionined in the Graham robson Book i have that it was researched and promoted internally at Ford as a direct competitor to the golf vr6 , the vr6 was by no means out and out sports orientated, it was a very well equiped v6 cruiser, exactly what the escort would have been.

I see one at Silverstone about 5 years ago on a Ford Stand, im sure it was blue. I do remember that the inlet was on the offside not the nearside as in the Granada.
