...to have my tooth pulled out.....my first experience

Two gigantic needles, and then await the pulling....which was fooking disgusting...and the blood afterwards...well that was another matter!



Glad its over now tho ....can't have no booze for a while tho or solid food.



Anyone else had theirs out etc and what was their experiences like?

Some one got out of bed the wrong side,

Ive had a coupe of teeth out, the worst one was my very front tooth, I though ut was never going to come out

strange i had one out yesturday and i never felt a thing from the injections

never pulled at all , she used something that when she pushed it pulled the tooth out felt weird to say the least

blood taste horrible thou

 

Have had a tooth taken out but was knocked out for the experience so cant remember a thing about it

 

deffo the best way and the way i would go if i needed more out

 

Oh and i've had a tooth out too, not a very nice experience imo

 

Ive never had one out or a filling so i'm not looking forward to it when it has too be done

i went last thursday as i have had raging toothache for a few months buts its started getting worse. Hadnt been in nearly 15 years

She took one look and said i had an infection in my tooth so couldnt do anything that day. gave me some penicillin and have to go back today for a nice course of ROOT CANAL.

To say the least I'm bricking it !

 

have heard ROOT CANEL's are not the nicest of treatments...i know that dosen't help much tho

 

depends how big the infection is

i had one root canal. that was agony and i was yelling and screaming throughout the treatment, cos they couldnt numb the infection

i had another which was just injection and done, didnt feel a thing

it depends how infected the rotton tooth is

do you get severe tooth ache??

 

well it keeps me up some nihts. only think that seems to work when its bad is a nice gargle/swish round the mouth with southern comfort !

its gonna fuggin' hurt isint it roll on 16.05 for 40 minutes of pain

 

ok, just got back. Dentist said the infection was bad and was most f the way down the tooth. Ginge you were right it does FUCKING HURT !!!!!

She reckons shes got rid of all the infection, but took 30 mins and 6 injections ! at one point she said she was injecting down the tooth I have a temp. filling untilmonday. if it doesnt hurt for the rest ofthe week then I'll get it filled. If it still hurts then theres gonna be moredrilling.I really really hope theres no more driling

She also said when the anethstetic wearsoff its goona hurt too

Why a I such a big girl when it comes to pain

 

theres something very vunerable about being at the dentist though, i have had painful things happen, trapping fingers, skin etc at work, painful football injuries, and i like to think i can take the pain like a man

but as soon as i'm at the dentist, i clam up, sweaty palms, get nervous, i absolutely hate it.

just came back from the dentist on monday, repaired filling and a clean bill of health, now dont have to see her for 6 months

hope its all done now for ya, no more drilling

 

i have to go back on monday for either a perm, filling OR more drilling if its still hurting :-( am fuckin' bricking it
