Default Anybody had their Saff wheel arches rolled??

I'm having issues with my new wheels scraping the wheel arches over bumps and sharp bends and have been advised to get the arches rolled.

I took the car to R-Tec in St Albans today, who can do it but have warned there is a chance the process could result in the wing becoming rippled and then ultimatley having to be replaced.

Has anybody had their arches rolled on their Saff and as a result had any issues???

The car is booked in for Wednesday, so please let me know

Thanks

Hi

I had my sapp front arches rolled by them and they no problems at all.

Im using 215/40/17 paradas with 7.5x17 rondells , konis etc and dont get any rubbing at all , even on track days !

Think it does depend on what condicition the cars arches are in mainly .

Gonna go back and get my rears done now.

Top guys there , your in good hands !

Similar set up to mine then, Koni's, lowered 35mm. 7.5x17 Diamond cut RS 7's

There is virtually no rust at all on the arches, maybe one small surface piece on the underside flat part of the arch.

Fingers crossed for Wednesday then.

Hey steve B

It was out for the first run since your trackday in feb on sunday at santa pod , not a good day really .

1st run , rolled forward on the line so red lighted .

2nd run , Timing lights didnt work so no time .

3rd run , You've guessed it , broke another Fookin DIFF !!!!!!

After the 3rd diff broke i started to find it funny now that was number 13 that broke on sunday , real funny ! lol .

By the way the cage is all in with the harness's and its looking good !

May bring to your meet later this month .
