The AVC-R is quite good. It is very nice looking, but very complex to set up and not great for high boost. Most people on here seem to like the Turbosmart E-Boost, but personally I like the Blitz SBC models. I have this one.....

The SBC I-Color. It is very nice, but quite expensive. It's predecessor, the Blitz SBC-ID is superb and the one that I would recommend. Here is a typical link.....

You can also add their 'Power Meter', which will give additional functionality, such as speed-based boost mapping and sprint times. Though, this is not necessary.

Lower down the scale is the GReddy Profec-B. These can be bought for under £200 and are quite good, though quite basic. The GReddy E-01 is another advanced controller, but I see no reason to go for that. Complicated, expensive and not that great.

HTH.

Ive used the Greddy Profec B on a few cars.

Pretty easy to use, and controls the boost very well...and well priced.

I'd stay clear of the Apexi AVCR, nightmare to setup, and for most, half the features arent even needed.

Blitz DSBC Spec R is also quite good and easy to use. I'd stay away from the Spec-S though. The solenoid on it isnt very good.

Also heard good reports about the Turbosmart E-Boost, but never used one myself.

right, i never read full post but heres my 2pennyz worth.............

ApexI AVC-R seems best,
went out in a big power turbo civic type-R and it held 20psi from spool up right through untill the (early!?) 7900rpm limit.

i bought one myself but its unfitted as yet due to running in needs

get one bought IMO
