cosworth vs evo8
Trending Topics
I was quite surprised that the cosworth handled as good as it did, he was still moving through the corners and seemed to have the legs on the straight, cool vid and the lad nearly binned the evo into the E30 in the paddock
Good driving from the Cossie, would be interesting to know the spec of his car. Circuit looks good too, ALS would shorten the life of the turbo if he uses it a lot.
Evo driver looks like he needs some training
loads of places for passing during the vid. Looks like they both had fun, which of course is the point.

the evo came into its own on they bends it didnt quite hve the beans to pass on the straights but fair play to the saph driver
I wouldnt say cosworth 1 evo 0 tho the guy was all over the cos i=on the bends,& on the straights he was hardly pissing on the evo.

You can get plenty of flames without Antilag
Awesome vid! We spell tyres (tires here in the US). I think that Saph was moving pretty well though!
Oh and the smoke could be anything like a blown turbo seal doesn't mean the car is dead.

would of been interesting to see the evo in front for a bit only time the cos looked quicker was the straight and the evo had a passenger.Good going from the cossie though fending off the 15 year newer car just looked like a moving road block in the bends
Too many posts.. I need a life!!

3 bars MAP
T3 turbo charge (stock)
4x4 intercooler
Mongoose 3"
C57C Champion Spark Plugs
Stock engine with YB 611 head gasket
Stock air box filter with racing cartridge.
SECS and exhaust temp indicator
1.6 bar of turbo charge pressure (23/24 PSI)
(only during track)
All HD bush suspension (special engine mount with HD 4x4 on 2 wd)
Bilstein sprint line kit with Eibach - 20 mm.
Brakes stock except 1144 pads and Motul RF 600 fluid
Escort Cosworth wheels with 215x40x16 F1 GDS3 Good Year
Stock gear box, stock rear axle, stock clutch.
During this session, engine data was (max)
6800 rpm
91° water temp
115 oil temp
56° air temp
860° exhaust temp
For info, max speed on the end of straight line was 215 km/h approxim.
Engine power on roller is : 343 hp, but not sure of precision !!!!!
Engine power of Evo was the same (dixit Evo driver)
The trouble what stop my car was : turbo charge shaft broken.
I suppose because turbo was in overspeed several times.
As follows, 2 pics of my car.

Claude
