Because turbo charge shaft was broken (just on exhaust wheel) and stop to turn.
And oil passe directly in exhaust line : white smoke.

2001ode is a good friend and an very good driver for his age.(i think 53-60 years old)
i is an very good technician( i worked to ford france, at the technical formation. i was the boss).
we be able to see him in many car magazine when the cossie run on world championship.

spot on vid!i take it they dont care over there whether you under take or over take in corners? for a 2wd i say good on you mate! all well and good saying the evo had it round corners but what wouldve happened if 4x4 or escort cossie?

@ Fastmaul,
it was as you said - the white smoke was the turbo. Some guy's take in that case an Maram shaft, who's more healthy. Remember a 15 year old car did the pace in front of an EVO 8.
That's why Cossy owner's say - it's magic -;
this vid is awesome and the Saph is hard on the track.

love that. 2 very well matched but incredibly different cars.
liked the bit going past the porsche where it looked like the evo was gona take both, then you see the saph pulling away.

RS 500 intercooler is on the way (I am waiting a response from Pace Product), big brakes are on my garage ready to fit (315 mm. x 28 mm. with new AP racing 4 pots calipers) and T34 is on the car since 3 weeks !!!!!!!
I just looking for air box lid RS500.
