DTA P8PRO engine management mapping - FAO KARL
Hi Karl
Hope the house move went good mate.
Looking at getting my new cars final map done as soon after I get the car as I can. It has originally been 5k base mapped for running in by Steve Greenauld, part of Track & Road in Essex.
Is this ECU one you are happy to map for me, basic spec of the car is:
Engine:
2.1ZVH, EFI ported and polished head, copper head gasket, accralite postons, Kent cam, T34 turbo, GRS intercooler, Pace rad, oil cooler with remote filter. Siemens injectors, wideband and narrow band lambda sensors. Steel con rods.
DTA P8PRO ecu, Mongoose exhaust, Escort cosy in tank fuel pump, FSA power boost valve, pipercross air fliter, full set of black silicone hoses, blue boost hoses.
Bernie stage two box with Quaiffe ATB diff, Alcon 6 paddle clutch with AP racing cover.
I will also have laptop software and a dyno box, and I need to bring the car to you cos I aint gonna touch it!!
If anyone else knows this is Karls field with this management, stick a reply on, if not I might have to find someone else

Phoned his mobile loads of times, also tried the workshop, so thought I would ask on here, because if he definitely didnt do it I would have to look around for someone that will.

Think my bro is going back to Karl for a remap on his DTA in the near future, as his 2 year rebuild / rebodge / rehash of the RST is nearly complete.
I've just had my car mapped by Karl, and he was brilliant to deal with, but getting through to them was slightly tricky. They are always busy (NMS are victims of their own success), and if they answer the phone all day they can't do any work!
Keep trying though Stu, in my experience it's well worth it.
