Basically had a crash yesterday in my run around golf gti. 50/50 whether its my fault or his. I contacted my insurance this morning and told them.

The other bloke has just phoned me and said he wi willing to just forget about it as his car aint worth much. Im willing to do this aswell as the golf wernt worth much.

Will this affect my no claims as i have told them about it already but no claim is going to go through as we are both willing to foget about it and cut our losses.

it will be noted mate that you had an accident but it wouldnt
effect your no claims

ALWAYS report an accident to the insurance company, even if the other person says not to bother

they will note it as a non fault claim and you can go and sort it after that

 

oh yea and also let the police know just incase thay turn
round and say thay have injury and try and make a claim
of you and not your insurance sounds daft but peaple try
