mate difference between 88 and 90 is the seats, bumpers and spoiler, dont think ford changed anything else just wanted to change these things so they could add abit more to the price

 

There is a difference. Looked at my mates 90 spec one the other day and the fuse box layout is different. Dont know if the wiring itself is any different though.

yeh think they are different, electric mirrors, ive got a seperate washer and pump for rear on mine (88spec) so loom will be different, proberly only silly little things like that which are different

 

late rst,s have a knock sensor on the right hand sise off the inlet manifold. it only works when it senses detonation. then it retards the ignition timing. series one's and 80 spec s2's dont run the knock sensor. u have to get right brain 2, thats wot the square coulors are on the front of them.
