Default checking a turbo
hi, i think my dumpvalve sprays out oil, does this mean my turbos knackered? was just wondering how i would check a turbo to see if its ok or not!

If its spraying oil out the DV then the turbo oil seals are fooked

just pull off the one of the boost hoses and look inside it shud be caked in it by now if its comin out the dv, ur intercooler prob has a fair drop of oil in it by now aswell

i have a little around the opening of the dump-valve but its not wet think its more dust and muck then anything is that normal?

give it a good clean and then drive the car, go back amd look if theres a load of crap all over it again you have problems if not your sorted
