Impossible to do the same speeds as you can in the dry, but easier in general as can do it slow like a complete pussy like in that shite vid.

i think drifting in the wet gives the folk with lesser powered cars a chance if its in a comp

Its still hard as fuck, but its still a shit vid compared to whats around.

Dont need power, people with stock 2litre sierras still drift just fine in the dry, just harder than in the wet.

i remember you telling me that folk couldnt drift in normal sierras many moons ago when i told you my mate who races stock cars could drift his
and he does it with a 1600 pinto engine hopefully if he aint racing he going to get a car sorted for crail as i aint leting him rag mine

you can drift anything, but you cant be competitive in anything, AFAIK idve never said anything else.

you could drift a 1600 pinto POS if you wanted, but itd not be able to do anything much in anything but 1st n 2nd at best.

i thought they actually judge you on your cars abilty aswell? say if you had a lot shitter car you wouldnt have to do aswell as the 40k car .thats what they were saying at knockhill or thats way i took it just i thought thats how the local guy done ok as his car was no where near as good as some of the others so wasnt expected to make same angles etc or am i totally wrong lol

 

to some extent what car you in is taken into consideration in D1 rules, but not much at all, as if so nobody would ever have any need to spend money making a good car.
if both cars perform equally the shitter one has the slight advantage, but if the better one is even slightly better its through regardless.

reason Kieran got into the last 8 at Knockhill was he is good, the cars not as shit as it looks, and Ralph in the SVA 350Z fucked up n span out.

its not exactly easy to keep up with drift cars entering 1st corner at 120mph and holding 4th gear drifts inc all down long straights when you not in a car that can manage it.
