what type of sensor? does it have a threaded plastic end with the cable coming out of it? if so it goes in the top of the plenum chamber.

the charge air temp sender does indeed go in the plenum chamber. the metal thing that goes over the top of the engine. funily enough, it senses the temperature of the charge air.

the metal thing that goes over the engine is the charge carrier not the plenum chamber
