how low is everybodys rs turbo? my rst is 80mm and ive just bought 40mm springs as i cant even get it down my drive.
i hope 40mm will manage speed bumps as i couldnt get over them before?

80mm, what springs are they? 35mm should be ur max drop - old springs collpse too.

 

30mm. Any lower than this and the car will drive like a bag of turd. Although the kiddies will love it as it looks "Phat!!"

not sure what type of springs they r they r imported from sweden by a mate with a garage. for pics of it go to www.scottishfordforum.co.uk the reg plate is g7 rst it will be in the events

Lewis Pete here with the S1 i was nattering to you about cluthes and coolers and other bumf at the cross club meet (before the management threw us out)

My cars 40 mm but i didnt think yours was much lower, never mind another 40 m, mines just makes it over bumps but you need to be very very slow to do it, handles fine but probably could do with being upped a bit since the vibration frequently knocks plugs and relays out their sockets.

Mine has been lowerd 60mm and drives like a bag of spanners. As far as i know theres only 70mm of travel any way so it looks like your on the bump stops.

cheers folks. sorry ive not replied sooner my g/f had a baby. i put the springs on it and it sits much higher. the car is off the road for winter and it needs the 5th injector set up. should be back next spring sorted. lol

 

i dunno how low mine is but its got koni adjustable and jamex springs! strange combo but i didnt do it!

 

Used to have a black RST that was LOW think that was 60mm aswell.

Had a hard job getting over speed bumps and getting in the drive after that got pissed off and sold the car

 

im taking the car out 2day for a wee blast round my estate see how it rides. it def looks much higher and feels a bit softer, but it has koni adjustables so i can sort that out. i shouldnt have many probs goimg over bumps now. i hope lol
