sine my martini livery is finnished now it was time to start with another car.since my girlfriend wanted a cossie.i bought a 87 saph and complete cosw 4x4 running gear.complete cosw styling etc..the car is going to be just a daily driver for here,and not a show car... i started to cut out the gear tunnel first,when that was done i took the engine bay.this had a lot of bad(read horrible) repairs from past.took some time to make this look good but its all done now.here are some piccies from the work so far.
this is the start out project.the shell was in very good condition.but as you can see on for example the hood the former repairs/paintjob was shite

as you can see on the hood.the former repairs on this car was shite,they have even sprayed some of the inner flares.shitty craftmanship

here i am fixing some of the shitty repairs.you can also see the cutouts for the frontaxles ive made.

here the engine bay is ready to get some proper paint.im doing all the work my self.since ive been a carpainter for about 13 years

second coat of paint.didnt take a pic of the third coat because this is being done in our garage and dont have a paintboot there yetso the air was full og spraydust.

going to jump right to the finnished product.sorry for the piccies to be a little blurry but it was alot of paintfog in the garage




it aint a run on the sidewall its just the reflection of the masking,hehehe a little shiny

i am going to post more piccies as the work continues.next up is the assembly of the engine bay and get the engine in.this car is getting my old cosw engine togheter with the 4x4 running gear,the engine puts out 390 hp on the wheels, just enough for my girfriend ,for now that is hehehe hpoe you enjoy this post.want some opinions from you all...

a little update again.have damaged my left hand .so cant work so much with the car (for obviouse reasons )well here are some piccies of how far i have come now.i am waiting for some new parts.so still miss new dampers/springs and engine mounts. waiting is a shitty thing. as i guess all of you know all about.
waiting for new dampers. havent painted the inner arches du too that i am going to paint them black as soon as the outside is finnished


and this is how far i have come now.just need the new the engine mounts before i finnish the engine.
