Default saab exhaust housing ????

hello all

a saab 900/9000 with a t3 i heard that u can use the exhaust housing off one of theses as its a .46 and its makes a good difference ...is this true ??? has anyone done it ?

had a saab housing on my t3 had to have 1 hole re drilled to fit it worked a treat though

may be a bit more laggy , but according to the turbo books ive got , a bigger exhaust housing leads to less overall heat?
im running a t3 0.42 hot and t4 0.6 cold , works well enough

saab turbos are bags of shite particularly when they are bolted to saab engines!!

no frigging clue , seems to be a standard t3 size down here - possibly turbod alfas?
thats where my carbs came from anyway - now fitting xr3i efi inlet manifold and gotech

intersting whats its like compraed to a 48. Is it 3 bolt or 5 bolt outlet?

5 bolt?
cant actually recall as i got it with an adaptor plate over it as i am using a rajay external w/gate with a 60mm downpipe

looks like the turbo pics ive seen of the t3 in escy manuals(Haynes)
