Hi guys, has anyone any specfic information on what is required to replace a 1.25 zetec-se with a puma 1.7 zetec-se?

I know the engines are physically very similar but what about wiring and can the 1.25 ecu be reprogrammed to run the 1.7?

What is the best gearbox option?

i have a puma engine in my zetec~s. you need the puma loom and ecu. i did the conversion myself and was pretty simple.

 

hi was just wondering i have a 1.3 encore will i need a puma manifold as well as,ecu and wiring loom to go with the puma 1.7 engine and wont it restrict the engine if i leave it with the old 1.3 exhaust system ok thanks
