As title really. When will a single 044 run out of flow capacity.

If you want to go fancy calculations, assume a BSFC of approx 0.5.

Are they good for 500bhp?

 

Yes they will easily flow enough for 500bhp providing the correct voltage is seen at the pump

 

...and that the fuel lines are up to the job.

 

I think most decent tuners run two of these in parallel when you're running say 5.5-6 bar fuel pressure (~2 bar boost)..

Yes one will flow 600plus bhp i dont think its ever been max tested!

Obviously above 500bhp you will need bigger fuel lines.

 

is it worth having a std pump fromt he tank to a swirl pot, and then the 044 from the swirl pot to engine?

or will it be fine to just use the 044 from fuel tank to engine?

im gonna be using an ally fuel cell in the boot too.

 

i run one 044 pump with no probs...
