CO Screw Seized and Rounded Off
Hi, my S2 ERST has just failed MOT as my CO can't be adjusted as the screw has seized and been rounded off at some point. Can the metering unit be stripped apart and the screw replaced
You can certainly give it a go you've got nothing to lose, but ive had a go at undoing the screws holding the arm inside and they weren't coming un done for shit.........and the mixture screw is a special screw from what i remember, not like a normal screw.
If you fail you have 2 options:
A) New metering head and/or housing
B) EFI (you know you want to

Whats the problems now?
Bit of a misfire when going up through the rev range while driving, a few rattles, absolutely no oil pressure, boost gauge reads -8 at idle don't know if thats right or not.............but just drivin 20 miles with the biggest smile ever
Yeah I changed and checked everything but still no pressure, so its gonna be good bye to this engine and hello new one already on bench in garage, I just wanted a little fun before the big bang
Then your gauge or something to do with it is shit. No oil pressure = no oil in the hydraulic lifters = noisey as fuck engine
Does your oil light go out? What type of gauge do you have electronic or mechanical?
