Default Fitting a swirl pot to a series 2 escort turbo...

Ok so my latest ebay bargain is a bailey swirl pot... Problem is it doesnt come with any pipes.. First question please can someone tell me where and how it goes? Do I need different pipes or a blankin thing for the thermostat? Bassically how and where do I fit it? Thanks for your great help in advance once again....

An aftermarket swirl pot on an RST is pointless as they are fitted with one as standard!!

If you must fit an aftermarket one, the best bet is to also get a normal CVH Thermostat housing, then fit it with the aftermarket Swirl pot.

Block the hole on top off on your Thermostat housing then the pipe that was on there connect to the top off the swirl pot then you need to cut the pipe that goes from the Thermostat housing to the rad and put the swirl pot in line.

This is the part of the pipe you need to cut out cut the bend out of it and put the swirl pot in

Yes you're wasting your time the ERST and FRST have aswirl pot built in as standard in th etop of the thermostat housing. It might look pretty but it's going to do fuck all. Sorry mate
