When the car has sat for a few days it starts as normal but after a couple of minutes driving it cuts out and just turns over but doesn't fire up. When it does it sounds like it's running on 3 and sits and chugs away then cuts out again. This only happens when it's sat for a while and everyday use is very reliable.

Any ideas?

Kev had a similar problem with my old S2, the problem was a combination of a nick in a Ht lead which resulted in an ineffective spark to the plug, which in turn casued the plug to run rich.......hows your plugs/leads?

 

Not changed them in a while but i'll change them and see what happens
