hi, i want to fit bigger brakes on my track car ,

do cossie brakes fit?
if so what combination of calipers and discs, 2wd or 4wd??

yes mate you need 4x4 callipers and 2wd discs and they go strait on no brackets or owt

i think you use 4wd calipers and 2wd disks#

im shure someone on here will tell you whats exacly needed/involved with fitting

as said 2wd disk 4wd caliper you might need some thin washers to space the caliper out my dad did, strangely some do some don't.

Just need to fit a small spacer between the hub and caliper as the disc offset is 3mm diff or some thing just so the caliper centers on the disc correctly.

Yeah, combo as above fits well - and also the 24v Granny Cossie calipers fit also.

There is a kit out that lets you use the S2 caliper with cossie discs, you just need a bracket kit for it, which I think Mike R does, maybe Christian aswell...

if you run 16" + wheels you can also fit 324mm rs focus disks on your current calipers with a little bit of fettling

thrush: you can only do the 24V conversion with the 90-91 cars, afterwards they used a bigger bolt to hold the clipers on so you would have to drill out the hub to accept the M12 bolts
you may have to space out the granny calipers as they use different mouting brackets to the cossie 4wd cars, but the calipers are esaxclty the same

pgt: what sort of fettling are we talking about.................

@micky, cheers, i bought it last week off ebay, i only have 2 pics at the moment, its got a 1600cvh in at the mo not sure if i should change it or not, twin 40s? rs turbo lump?
