Default Just tested my MAF sensor results inside!

OK just tested with me mate the MAF sensor as we couldnt find any other problems regarding high CO

Now we pulled the intake hose half off the MAF sensor and we rapidly saw the CO% dropping like a rock! tested it a few times and same occurs.

MAF sensor fooked i reckon???

Can i clean it or just stick a new one in?

Every Small turbo with running problem I have seen has aways been the AFM, Does it have a cone filter on it.

Check the cone filters breather return most I have seen go straight in to the AFM measuerment hole not good for reliabilty.

No, you shouldn't use carb cleaner. Use an electrical contact cleaner.

You could probably clean it using cotton buds or a lint free cloth soaked in alcohol, gently wiped up the wire - you could fit an oiled air filter to a vehicle with an AFM, but I wouldn't do any of those either

Maybe I should have phrased it I wouldn't use any other than an electrical contact cleaner to clean a relatively fragile AFM.....
