how tuneable are these engines? and what sort of performance do they give standard in an xr2i? cheers!!

 

Standard they are 108bhp. 0-60 takes about 9 seconds.

Loved my old 2i though shame I don't have much footage. This was it's last dyno run before getting written off

Spent loads to get it to the 130bhp mark and it went really nicely

 

what sort of modification did you do to get it to the 130 mark?

 

Polished and ported cylinder head
Piper cam
vernier pulley
Chip
4 branch manifold
Custom stainless exhaust (not PowerFlow shite)
Induction kit with heat shield and ducting

Think there was a couple of other bits but it was a couple of years ago now.
