Default Few probs with saff 4x4

I seem to be getting a misfire at about 5000+pm in third and forth and my rpm needle is very jump lately, seems to be very erratic even when cruising at a steedy speed its fluctuating up and down the dial face?

Group A coil is cheap so get one in anyway, saved me from the misfires when I did.

the needle jumping is caused by either the TDC sensor not working quite right,
or more likely in this case, the Multi plugs that sit just above the engine
on the bulkhead in the engine bay.
my car was doing exactly this before i cleaned the plugs!!

but as Smit and others say. the earths Will do a lot for you too!

I've cleaned the connectors on the bulk head but no luck with the tacho needle, I've orderd a grp A coil, new ignition module and motorsport leads and I'll check all the earth's to the engine, hopefully sorts out the misfire. Its NCT testing time soon (Irish equivalent of an MOT).
