hi i have a rs turbo and the oil light keeps comming on at idle have fitted new oil pump new strainer new cam and new followers but yet it still comes on the oil pressure sits low at only 9 psi when the engine is warm but as soon as you touch the throtle pedal it up and the higher you rev it the more it goes up as it should, have just fitted the cam as well and now it wont run right the cam timeing is spot on and have re timed it but its fine one moment then the next it fucks about think it might be the dissy as it has a lot of play in it does any one no were i can get another cheers

 

ford oil pressure switches switch on at 3psi
if the gauge says nine on tickover then the switch is fooked

done the pressure switch but still no change the engine is screwed now so will be fitting another tomorrow neva mind thats how it goes
