Could anybody tell me if a mongoose back box will fit onto my magnex system?
If so has anybody got a mongoose 4 inch rolled out box for sale?

Yes it does. And this is (all IMHO) the best set up. The Magnex box sounds cack, but the system has the flexi. The Mongoose box sound ace, but the system doesn't have a flexi so the manifold studs are stressed.

This setup works really well!

 

the only bad thing is that the tailpipe will stick out abit too much and wont look as good as a mongooses ssytem

So what do you do if you say have the magnex system at the moment but are going for big power and want the 3" bore mongoose system but want to retain the flexi pipe? Do you weld it on ?

For example - Zetec 16v lump, tubular manifold, flexi pipe, mongoose 3" bore, mongoose back box.

????

 

I believe mongoose do, do a flexi pipe, it;s shorter than the magnex version. But I agree this setup is good, and agree that the box does stick out a tad further, looks rude imo! and no black bumper marks either

 

Cheers lads for all the info, im gonna go for putting a mongoose back box on my system if i can strike a deal on a back box.
