Why? Why do people say they will have your car, let you go to loads of trouble, then come out with some bullshit excuse as to why they dont want it?

Seems completely fucking pointless to me. I have never done it

 

Had a guy come round to look at one of my cossies i had up for sale. spent 45mins looking round the thing, listening to the engine and all the usual stuff plus some. Then tells me---If i had not just bought a flat i would buy it from you. Then asks if i can take him out for a spin in it. Not only a timewaster but a twat as well.

Tell me about it - waited in 3 hours Sunday afternoon after cutting a BBQ short as someone was coming to see my car - was really interested - asked some odd questions though (i.e. had I lowered the compression to cope with my stage 1 tune????) - then didn't turn up, didn't call, nothing.

Happened twice now selling my Cossie, and pissing me off as well.

That and fucking canvassers.....

 

After i asked you the script after reading on another forum you were getting something else

 

Nothing more annoying Central day someone said they were going to have my S2 and pick it up next weekend.

I take all my stuff out like stereo etc. and did the guy turn up? Nope!

Fair enough if you don't want it but at least either a) dont say you will have it or b) ring up and say you've changed your mind so I don't waist loads of time and effort removing my stuff then waiting in all Saturday

i got fucked around something rotten by someone selling a car!!was after a little suzuki jeep for my mrs ,found a lovely one for sale in feltham,well cheap it was aswell.went to see it,had a drive,lovely thinks i. make yer man an offer £800,then he says oh no wont sell for less than £950.the cunt only had it advertised for £900 i also pointed out that tax was expired and ad said 6 months on it,he said oh yeah,its in the house!!then he says if i want it he'll start to look for motor to replace it with,then let me know when i could have it!!!! i nearly fucked him up there & then.what a prick.he didnt even see he was doing anthing wrong!
