Default Running without an ISCV

My iscv is knackered and when i unplug it, the revs ease off and it idles fine (can be a bit erratic when first started)

What are the disadvantages of unplugging/not using the ISCV?

Mine is fucked at the mo too, the only time its noticeable is when idling with the air con running (revs drop to about 500), apart from that you would never know
