2wd boost gauge help please

Default 2wd boost gauge help please

ok without takin the piss i aint got the first clue how to plumb this in, ill prob take a feed from cigarette lighter for the illumination is this correct? where should i connec the pipe to though to take the reading? is there a suitable exsisting hole in the bulkhead for the pipe? help please

i also need to plumb in oil pressure and water temp how do i go about this?

the boost gauge is easy, connect a 't' piece to a vacuum/boost pipe off of the inlet manifold and run the pipe to the gauge, best to connect the illumination into the sidelight output on the back of the headlight switch (use a testlight to assertain which wire goes live when only sidelights are on), water temp gauge fitment depends on the gauge sender type and oil pressure usually uses a 't' piece to connect the gauge supply pipe or sender and the oil pressure switch together, illumination for those is the same as the boost gauge wiring.

As Above, but personally I would take the illumination from the switch on the dash for the variable dash lights, that way when you move the dash lights bright to dim etc the gauges follow suit and its a nice touch IMO, also obviously then the lights for the gauges will only be on with the lights too

Just personal preference mate
